In an alternate universe Norway, a well known but criticised health service has finally allowed anyone to get hormones, with one catch. All deliveries must be done through Hormonposten. A postal service banned from using any means of transport except for their feet. You are a courier for Hormonposten, and you've just been assigned a delivery to Kirkenes, a 20 day journey.

Bugs

The game might be a bit buggy. I would love to fix the bugs, but every time a new build is uploaded, itch.io unfortunately wipes player progress. I know some people have already started the journey so I don't want to delete their progress. Thankfully the bugs are all trivial and they don't really affect the core gameplay.

Known issues:

  • Time counts weird when window is covered or minimized
    • Listen for the off-beat step sound
  • Hour timer and minute timer say the same on refresh
    • Only temporary and only affects the UI. Doesn't reflect your actual "score". UI will update properly once the seconds timer has reached zero.
  • The music doesn't loop
    • This is actually intentional, but some people reported it as a bug so I thought I'd mention it here.
  • The clouds pop sometimes
    • This is because I was dumb and didn't set the parallax to loop perfectly. Whoops!

CGA grapgics return! I think I havn't seen this type of vintage graphics recreated in Itch. Is this about acquiring Anabolic steroids from other countries?  I would love seeing some "drug dealer" type where you can build factories and stuff. Ofcourse Norway must have banned Anabolic steroids because they can be abused as doping to cheat in athletics game.

No, this is not about anabolic steroids. This is about hormones for HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) used by transgender people to transition.

It is usually the same stuff (Testosterone)  to develop a male body, only that they can be abused by athletic cheaters. Hence the hard control. Doctors also must know the patient really suffers from this disorder and not try to get hold of testosterone. One needs to know if the patient also always wished he had a male body already at birth. That's a clear sign. At least in my hypothesis. I had some experience with Norwegian medical science. I am not sure they try hard enough TBH.
